Oh Rasullullah! What would you have us do with Nik Aziz?

I read in an article somewhere, sometime back. The article said, that IF our beloved nabi, Muhammad PBUH was on this earth today, he would have united the world...UNITED THE WORLD!

This proves that our modern minds, through hindsight, has acknowledged that our prophet's deeds are worth following. His deeds are worth researching and then made into our way of life.

My friends, let me bring your focus back to the title.

Nik Aziz. Here is a person who preaches as if he is the most Islamic person in Malaysia...if not on earth. If I offend him, I am sorry. That is not my intentions, only Allah knows.

My friends, I am just furious that this man, to increase his political reach has been telling his people, and his fellow Muslims that if one joins a certain party (no names mentioned), his or her prayers and worship will not accepted by Allah and that these people would be the dwellers of Hell. This 'righteous person' in the form of Nik Aziz has elevated himself from mere human, to a prophet of such and now, he is Allah's advisor! I hope he stops there and not go to the next level of calling himself, 'God'!

I am furious that these people use Islam, the beautiful religion that was saved and then spread through our Prophet Muhammad PBUH in his life and after his death, to win political mileage. How dare Nik Aziz? How dare those who following him blindly? Who will be the one who receives the syafaat of our beloved prophet? The Humble or The Proud? I don't claim to know everything about Islam, but from my readings and personal understanding, the ongoings in Bagan Pinang would have put a tear in our Prophet's eyes, if he was alive to witness it.

Battle of the tongues was on display. Battles of the vocal cords, i should say. :D This is the result of direct translating 'bertikam lidah'. Hee hee hee...forgive me!

Yes, battle of vocal cords was on display. I think that is normal, in the political arena. PAS was also taking part in the battle, after all, if they did not take part in the battle, then it would not be called a battle, would it? They had words to say, and so did the UMNO guys. Like I said, normal. Then, i guess the sun got the better of them (the PAS guys). Thinking that they'd call for the help of Allah, PAS supported started praying and asking of Allah...or at least it was Allah I thought they were praying to. And in congregation, the PAS supporters started their, 'Amin'ing. I doubt many of them could hear what was being prayed for, and for those who could hear, the question arises if they understood what their acting leader on that day was praying for. (Looking at the results for the Bagan Pinang by-election, I would not be surprised if the leader was an undercover UMNO guy who was planted in the PAS camp to ask God for UMNO's victory :D) Anyway, shortly, after the not-so-short prayer, they started chanting the kalimah (Laaillah ha illAllah) The funny thing was, the UMNO guys also joined in and chanted together. What were the PAS supporters thinking? That the UMNO supporters, who were Malays and knowing our constitution, generally Muslims, did not know how to chant that kalimah as well?

Here is the sad part. If you were there, if you could see the conditions out side the polling stations, this is why I think RasullUllah would have shed a tear. The great divide was a road. 10 feet apart. One side was UMNO, and the other PAS. Majority? Malays! Were at one another's throats fighting for so called righteousness. This is what Nik Aziz personally wanted to see. He just wanted to see HIS supporters fight the party that denied him something in the past. I guess that is how he keeps his hatred for UMNO alive, by holding on to the past. And to keep reminding him of the past, he named his party PAS.(Ha ha ha..sorry, I am just a funny guy...no offense taken I hope) Nik Aziz doesn't care for Islam, he doesn't care for righteousness. He cares for what being Islamic can do for him and he only cares for revenge and since the person who so called 'wronged' him is no longer around he will try to take this person's party down. Nik Aziz just cannot bury the hatchet and let Muslims carry on as ONE. ONE MALAYSIA, remember! That is what we are all fighting for, and here he is fighting against it.

Was Rasullullah against unity? I think he united all of us through Islam.

Let's take me for example. I am Chinese, but I belong to UMNO. Why? Because Islam has united me with my other Muslim brothers in UMNO. If a Chinese man can be united with others of a different race because he is Muslim (InsyaAllah), then why can't PAS be United with UMNO through Islamic brotherhood?

Why is Nik Aziz so against it? (IF you are a PAS member, whose name is NOT Nik Aziz, reading this, answer this question. Do you know the cause for which you are fighting? Are you just fighting a fight that you inherited and know nothing about?)

Did RasulUllah stage war on his enemies or did he only fight when provoked? Did he have enemies? Was he a forgiver? Islam had enemies, but from what I know, RasullUllah only fought when oppressed. Not just for the sake that these people ran him out of Makkah. I fight for Islam now, but not for the sake of fighting for Islam, but just to spread the word that there is only 1 God and He is Allah and that the Muhammad PUBH was his chosen prophet. I did not inherit RasullUllah's fight. I fight for people to use their god given brains. I was told, if not for the 'akal' we are no different from a cow. I think that true. (OK la, not so if you count the 4 legs against our 2)

My friends, fearing boredom on your part, I will end here. There will be a follow up to this blog but in the meantime, do give me your thoughts. Before I leave, let me leave you some questions and final thoughts.

1) What would RasullUllah have wanted us to do about the UMNO and PAS difference? Is there a difference?

2) What is so wrong in wanting to unite Muslims?

3) Can Nik Aziz let bygones be bygones and let us Muslims live as one in 1-Malaysia?

If UMNO is all that bad, then will destroying the party curb all the 'bad' things that PAS thinks is happening in UMNO? If RasullUllah was alive today, would he have done that or, would he have called for council and say, "Let us teach this people by example. Most importantly, they have already acknowledged that Allah is One and Muhammad is His chosen Prophet. Let us HELP them change and let us not use hatred to do that. Let us work as one for the sake of the betterment of Islam, because the more peaceful Islam is, the more would want to come to us. and the work of the prophet will then continue" Shouldn't that be so?

What are the traits of Nik Aziz that makes him more Islamic than the next man?
