"Let us not POLITICIZE the death of Amirulrasyid!" So say the family of the 15 year old boy who was shot dead by the police.
Is that what they really want? From where I stand, I don't think so...
Why do I say that? Well if a parent did NOT want to politicize the death of their son, and was ONLY interested in seeking justice, from the choice of hundreds of thousands of lawyers in Malaysia, why would they appoint Karpal Singh?
(And...Karpal, Karpal...if publicity was not involved....would you have accepted the case?)
When you hear the name "Karpal Singh", does lawyer come to mind? Or does Member of Parliament or DAP or politician or...you tell me. And let's just say, given the benefit of the doubt, by chance the parents of Amirul just stumbled on Karpal's office and they promised themselves that the very 1st lawyer's office they stumbled upon will be hired to 'avenge' their son's death...what were the parents, staying in Shah Alam, doing all the way in the back roads of the currently under construction Puduraya?
Why don't people 'cakap serupa bikin' in this world? Why doesn't a parent who really want justice served, go out and hire a lawyer who is just that, a lawyer? Aren't the other lawyers good enough? Are you telling me that Karpal and his son what's his name, Go-something Singh are the only two lawyers who are capable of winning a case or seeking justice?
To the parents of Amirulrasyid...my heart truly goes out to you. I can't image what you are going through now. I have kids of my own and can't imagine losing any of them. I am sorry if I sound a little bit insensitive, but, has your great loss made you lose all judgement and common sense. If Karpal really wants to do justice, do it in the courts...not in the media. And if Karpal and the Go-something Singh really want to help, there are hospitals..private hospitals who are charging absorbitant prices and misdiagnosing the unsuspecting patients.
What more can I say...
Let Us Not Politicize the Death of Amirulrasyid....

The Banks are just taking people for a ride, and our 'governing bank' is doing NOTHING about it!
Read my reply to 'them' (No names mentioned)!
Ha ha ha...forgive me for laughing, but enough is enough! Many people have gotten their money stuck with you because of your habit of wanting to be the so-called 'best' or the 'top'. And anyway, your fund launching habit has bitten you back in the butt! A lot of your agents are starting to leave you or selling less for you. Take that as a sign la.
10 awards? Big deal, ah? For P***M***, that is a big laugh! If i am not mistaken, in 2005 or 2006, you managed to pride yourselves with advertising that you won 28 awards. from 28 awards to 10 awards this year...hmmm...would you call that an achievement worth talking about? Anyway 10 awards mean that only 7.3% of your 73 funds is worth talking about. but actual numbers are not 7.3% right? Because your small cap was counted twice! Trying to pull a fast one on the unexpecting investors 'AGAIN' are you?
What do I mean by 'AGAIN'? (You really dont know or pretend NOT to know?) Your billboards, oh my god, your billboards...good marketing campaign! But you are 'playing' with people's retirement and education funds here. It is not about marketing, it is about the truth. When you, as a fund house, advertise that you are No. 1, people expect it to be No. 1 in fund performance not No. 1 in fund size (what the hell does your fund size got to do with investors returns?), but of course, you have made yourself right (in the eyes of the law) by having a disclaimer which is there, but too small for a speeding vehicle to really get aglimpse of. (Do the right thing and really show people the truth! Take down your signs. Enlarge the disclaimer and reduce the No. 1) ...No. 1 in fund size and No. 1 in kelentong maybe la...
Anyway, percentagewise, you are not No. 1 in fund performance. Only 7.3% of your total fund stable won awards in 2009-2010 , a drop from about 30% in 2005- 2006...sheeesh....what a joke!
Stop trying to manipulate people and start helping people!
PS: Stop listening to the bankers who are trying to take the credit for your fund performance. After all, they are bankers and bankers are good in collecting money (thus your fund launching campaigns) but not really good in giving people money. (Hey, maybe that will be my next research. What has your owners, the bank, been receiving awards for...hmmm..i wonder. Could I be right?)
Why are there inverted commas on the word governing? Simple, is our supposedly governing bank really governing or are they being governed by the banks themselves?I received an email from a company that many have seen on highways claiming to be No.1. Now they are emailing anyone and everyone, who will still give them a thought, the fact that they have won 10 awards from Lippers.
